The Wesleys

Montréal’s finest, The Wesleys are set to release their debut album on April 12th 2024.

The music made by William D’Amours, Quentin Chisolm, Pablo Garcia and Henry Girard, encapsulates everything we love about a great band. They are a group of friends, a gang whose individual talents are amplified by the chemistry the universe has thrown between them. It’s something that can’t be argued. Like lightning striking or a sinkhole collapsing, the evidence is there, but you are not quite sure where it came from. Their unique sound conjures up well-crafted rock 'n' roll meditations on the human condition, that are part heart and part adrenaline.

I remember where I was when I first listenined to The Wesleys debut EP “Outside Voices”, Little Village Records was nothing more than a logo on a scrap of paper. The band had just sent me the recordings in preparation for an episode of The Go-Go Radio Magic Show, in which The Wesleys would be interviewed. I was walking through a park, through a sunbeam slightly light-headed as “Find A Way” broke the silence and muted the city around me. It sounded urgent and felt thrilling as the music wrapped itself around me. I was filled with that feeling you get when you first discover a new favourite band, one that will go the distance within your life’s soundtrack. By the time the closing track “Get A Reaction” completed, I felt like I would give a year of your life to to be a part of it. And then I listened to it again.

Over the last 7 years, the members of The Wesleys have all been involved in various musical projects throughout the Montreal underground music scene, including  Mundy’s Bay, Kid Lucifer. Les Sonics, Light Bulb Alley, Palmetto etc…

Since forming in 2021 The Wesleys have performed at several music Festivals including:

Calgary’s Sled Island Festival, Montreal’s Taverne Tour Festival and are performing three showcases at New Collossus Festival in NYC.
